Shiplet is the freight-forwarding brand of Empirical Marine and Trading Pte. Limited, UEN 202418701E, registered office 7 Fourth Lok Yang Road, Singapore 629704. The company is a Registered Declaring Agent with Singapore Customs, which means we lodge import permits in-house rather than through a third party. We are a freight forwarder, which is to say an agent. We do not own ships or aircraft. We book your cargo onto carriers that do, and we take care of everything around the freight: receiving and counting at the hub, consolidation, the Singapore import permit and clearance, GST paid at clearance and passed through at cost, and delivery to your address. Every shipment is carried on our Standard Trading Conditions.
What we do
One route, China to Singapore. Two modes, sea and air. Sea is LCL at S$82 per CBM with a 1 CBM minimum, or FCL quoted per booking; air is from S$6.00 per kg on chargeable weight with a 10 kg minimum. Every rate is hub to door: 10–14 days by sea and 3–5 days by air from our Foshan hub to your Singapore address, permit and clearance included. The Foshan hub
Your suppliers deliver to our hub in Foshan, Guangdong. We receive Mon–Fri, 9:00am – 6:00pm (China time) and Sat, 9:00am – 1:00pm (China time), count every carton against your packing list, hold cargo free for 5 days while a consolidation comes together, and ship it as one consignment. Departures run Monday to Saturday; cargo received on a working day leaves the next working day.

How we work
- Published rates. LCL and air rates are on the site and confirmed on your written quote. FCL is quoted per booking because carrier rates move weekly.
- A written quote the same business day, with a reference number issued the moment you submit the quote request. Nothing is booked and nothing is payable until you confirm.
- Every carton counted against the packing list at the hub, and you are told the same day if the count does not match.
- Cargo cover at declared invoice value. Missing cargo is compensated in full; damage is assessed case by case.
- Pay on delivery, cash or PayNow, when the goods are at your door. No card details, no deposit.
Track record
