How consolidation works

Many suppliers, one shipment, one delivery

  1. Order from any seller

    Order from as many suppliers as you like. Give each one our warehouse address (Foshan for sea, Shenzhen for air), and the marking code from your booking to write on the cartons.

  2. Parcels arrive at our hub

    Suppliers deliver to the hub. We log each parcel against your marking code and tell you what has arrived and what has not.

  3. Packed as one shipment

    When your last parcel is in, we pack everything into one consolidated shipment — one CBM figure, one price.

  4. One delivery to your door

    One permit, one clearance, one delivery to your Singapore address. GST is collected once, on the combined value.

Give your suppliers this address

Copy the Chinese address exactly as written: that is what the domestic courier reads. Put the marking code from your booking in the recipient name, so we can match every parcel to you. Sea cargo goes to Foshan, air cargo to Shenzhen.

When you book, you get a marking code like WHL/SHIPLET/K7M3P. Ask your supplier to write it on every carton.

What to write on the invoice

Every parcel needs a commercial invoice showing the seller, a plain description of the goods, the quantity and the price actually paid. A 1688 order screenshot is accepted if it shows those four things. Under-declared values delay clearance, and if anything is lost the claim is settled at the declared figure.

GST

Singapore charges 9% GST on the value of the goods plus freight and insurance, collected at import. By air, a shipment valued below S$400 is not charged GST; there is no such exemption for sea freight. We lodge the permit and pay it on your behalf; it appears as a separate line on your invoice.

Can't order or pay in China?

Our buying service orders from Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and other apps for you, pays the seller, checks the goods at our hub and ships them with the rest of your cargo.

Taobao and 1688 shipping: common questions

Do I pay per supplier or per shipment?
Per shipment. Consolidation at the hub is included in the sea LCL rate — you pay one price for the combined CBM.
How long will you hold my parcels while the rest arrive?
Parcels wait at the Foshan hub while the rest of your order arrives. The first 5 days are free, then S$20 per CBM per day; tell us the expected last delivery date when you book and we plan around it.
Do you check what the supplier sent?
We count cartons against the packing list on arrival. We do not open cartons or inspect contents unless you ask.
What if a supplier ships by their own courier?
That is normal — most 1688 sellers send by domestic express. As long as the label carries our hub address and your marking code, we receive it.
Is there a minimum shipment?
Yes, 1 CBM, about ten to fifteen medium cartons; anything smaller is billed as 1 CBM. Consolidation pays off when your orders from several sellers add up to a cubic metre or more.
When do I pay?
When your cargo reaches Singapore, before we deliver, by PayNow or bank transfer from your tracking page. There is no deposit and nothing to pay when you book.
